The spindle taper hole of the machining center is usually divided into two categories, namely a general system with a taper of 7:24 and a 1:10 HSK vacuum system.
7:24 Taper universal tool holder.
General tool holders with a taper of 7:24 usually have five standards and specifications, namely NT (traditional type), DIN 69871 (German standard), IS0 7388/1 (international standard), MAS BT (Japanese standard), and ANSI / ASME (American standard).
The German standard for NT tool holders is DIN 2080, which is used to tighten the tool holders on the traditional machine tools. It is also called ST in China; the other four tool holders are all the tools on the machining center through the nails at the end of the tool holder The handle is tightened.
At present, the most commonly used tools in China are DIN 69871 (ie JT) and MAS BT. The DIN 69871 tool holder can be installed on DIN 69871 and ANSI / ASME spindle taper holes. IS0 7388/1 tool holder can be installed on DIN 69871, IS0 7388/1 and ANSI / ASME spindle taper holes. On the machine tool, so in terms of versatility, the IS0 7388/1 type tool holder is the best.
(1) DIN 2080 type (referred to as NT or ST)
DIN 2080 is a German standard, that is, the international standard ISO 2583. It is what we usually call an NT-type tool holder. You cannot use a machine tool's robot to install a knife but use a manual knife.
(2) DIN 69871 type (referred to as JT, DIN, DAT or DV)
There are two types of DIN 69871, namely DIN 69871 A / AD and DIN 69871 B. The former is center-cooled, the latter is flange-cooled, and the other dimensions are the same.
(3) ISO 7388/1 type (referred to as IV or IT)
The size of the tool holder is no different from that of DIN 69871, but since the D4 value of the ISO 7388/1 tool holder is less than the D4 value of the DIN 69871 tool holder, the ISO 7388/1 tool holder is installed in the DIN 69871 tapered hole There is no problem on the machine tool, but if the DIN 69871 tool holder is installed on the ISO 7388/1 machine tool, interference may occur.
(4) MAS BT type (referred to as BT)
The BT type is a Japanese standard, and its installation dimensions are completely different from DIN 69871, IS0 7388/1 and ANSI, and cannot be replaced. BT
The symmetrical structure of the shank makes it better than the other three shanks in high-speed stability.
(5) ANSI B5.50 (abbreviated as CAT)
ANSI B5.50 is an American standard. The installation dimensions are similar to DIN 69871 and IS0 7388/1. However, due to the lack of a wedge gap, the ANSI B5.50 tool holder cannot be installed on DIN69871 and IS0 7388/1 machines, but DIN 69871 and IS0 7388/1 tool holders can be installed on ANSI B5.50 machine tools.
2. 1:10 HSK vacuum tool holder
The German standard for HSK vacuum tool holders is DIN69873. There are six standards and specifications, namely HSK-A, HSK-B, HSK-C, HSK-D, HSK-E and HSK-F. There are three commonly used: HSK-A (Automatic tool change with internal cooling), HSK-C (manual tool change with internal cooling) and HSK-E (automatic tool change with internal cooling, high-speed type).
The 7:24 universal tool holder is connected by the 7:24 taper surface of the tool holder and the 7:24 taper surface of the machine tool spindle hole. It has limitations in high-speed machining, connection rigidity and coincidence accuracy.
The HSK vacuum tool holder is elastically deformed by the tool holder. Not only does the 1:10 taper surface of the tool holder contact the 1:10 taper surface of the machine tool spindle hole, but also the flange surface of the tool holder and the spindle surface are in close contact The surface contact system is superior to the 7:24 tool holder in high-speed machining, connection rigidity and coincidence accuracy.
